Leo Gabriel - Reel

Leo Gabriel is a writer, director, and actor who recently graduated half a year early from NYU Tisch School of Drama with a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology. His journey in performance began in middle school at Second City Chicago, where summer programs sparked a lifelong passion for improvisation. He continued building his craft at The PIT in NYC and progressed through Lin Manuel Miranda's Freestyle Love Supreme's program, honing his musical improv and freestyle rap. His dedication and talent earned him a role as a Facilitator, guiding others in the art of spontaneous performance. While in high school at the Professional Children's School, he worked as a Production Assistant on Freestyle Love Supreme's Broadway show and tour.

Over three years, Leo studied sketch writing under the mentorship of Emmy winning SNL writer Emily Spivey, developing a keen understanding of character development and comedic structure. He has since joined the Second City Conservatory, continuing to sharpen his comedy writing and performance skills.

At NYU, Leo studied at the drama at both Atlantic Theatre Company and Stonestreet Studios. Over three years, he starred in over 10 projects, wrote 8, and directed 7. He also served as a cast member, writer, and producer for Friends with Dads, NYU's sketch group, and worked doing interviews and creative coverage at the New York Comedy Film Festival.

His last two short films were just selected for festivals including the New York Comedy Film Festival and the Hollywood Independent Filmmaker Awards. He's currently in pre production on his biggest project to date, Running Through the Void, a sci fi psychological thriller short film he wrote, is directing, and starring in, shooting April 2026 as a SAG film with a $50K budget he raised himself.

A self proclaimed nerd with a passion for storytelling across film, TV, animation, gaming, and music, Leo is a master of over 150 impressions and 22+ dialects. His improvisational skills and ability to connect with audiences through spontaneous, dynamic performances make him a true multi hyphenate talent. As the driving force behind Super Slayer, his mission is to create bold, innovative content that resonates with audiences and redefines the boundaries of entertainment.

Say F**** It

Super Slayer represents my philosophy of simply putting yourself out there, no matter the odds. It’s about challenging yourself to do something crazy, ambitious, and maybe a little impossible.

It’s about saying, “I’m not waiting for you to pick me—I’m already moving.”

If you’ve got a story to tell, tell it. If you’ve got a vision, build it. Don’t wait—create.
